NuSil Expands Warehousing Capacity in Europe

October 10, 2013

Central Europe location allows for faster delivery times

NuSil Technology has obtained a new stocking warehouse in Rotterdam, Holland and began shipments of NuSil silicone from the facility. NuSil parterned with Expeditors International, a third party logistics firm, on the project.
The new location allows NuSil to ship products from central Europe for faster delivery times and lower freight costs. According to the company, stocked materials will undergo the same quality checks prior to shipping from Rotterdam as the company’s U.S. manufacturing sites.
“As a tool for sharpening our competitive edge, the Rotterdam warehouse exemplifies our commitment to customer service and stands as a platform for growth,” said Brian Nash, vice president of marketing and sales. “The Rotterdam warehouse is a literal extension and exemplification of NuSil’s commitment to keep readily available stock of in-demand silicone materials for on-demand service to customers. In further pursuits to make NuSil silicone increasingly convenient to purchase anywhere in the world, it will serve as a model for future warehouses.”
