ICON Appoints Japan GM

Ploch brings 18 years of experience

Manuel Ploch has been appointed general manager, Japan at ICON. Mr. Ploch will lead all operations in the region, including offices in Tokyo and Osaka. 
 
Mr. Ploch has more than 18 years of operational experience in the Japanese pharmaceutical R&D market. Prior to ICON, he was an independent consultant to a number of U.S., European and Asian pharmaceutical and biotech companies looking to enter the Japanese market. Prior to this, he was general manager Japan for a global CRO. He also held senior financial roles with F. Hoffmann – La Roche AG / Nippon Roche K.K.
