Prior to joining the company, he served as president of marketing at Biocon, where he had overall responsibility for APIs and branded formulations and managed a team of more than 2,000 people across functional areas and geographies. He also oversaw strategic partnerships that enabled the company to gain greater global access and market penetration for its biopharmaceuticals business. Mr. Bamzai also led Biocon's branded formulations initiatives, building many successful brands across therapies in India and Gulf Cooperation Council states.
