Particle Sciences Names Biosciences BD VP

Becker brings extensive R&D leadership experience

Robert Becker has been appointed vice president of Biosciences sales and business development at Particle Sciences, Inc. (PSI). Dr. Becker has more than 24 years of experience in biopharmaceutical scientific and business leadership. He has served in roles ranging from management of R&D teams and business development at Sanofi Pasteur, to running business and corporate development operations at VaxInnate and MedInstill. Dr. Becker has also led business and R&D activities through collaborations and partnerships with other companies and in some cases, with the U.S. government.
 
Dr. Mark Mitchnick, PSI’s chief executive officer, said, "Bob brings a wealth of experience to the Particle Sciences team. We are bringing Bob on to manage our growing portfolio of large molecule delivery systems. Having spent years in a scientific development role and then moving into operational and business development positions, Bob has a real understanding of our space and our clients’ needs. Bob will also handle government contracting, an area of increasing opportunity for us."
