Sanofi Appoints Chief Patient Officer

Beal to further incorporate patient needs in Sanofi offerings

Anne C. Beal, M.D., MPH, has been appointed chief patient officer at Sanofi. In this newly created position, Dr. Beal will be responsible for further elevating the patient perspective within Sanofi to better incorporate the needs of patients and caregivers in Sanofi offerings, ranging from early stage R&D through to on-market availability of healthcare solutions.
 
“Chief patient officer at Sanofi, the first for a top 10 biopharmaceutical company, shows our commitment to go further in meeting the needs of patients,” said Pascale Witz, executive vice president, Global Divisions and Strategic Development at Sanofi.
