FUJIFILM Corp. has completed the acquisition of Kalon Biotherapeutics, which operates the newly constructed National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM), a cGMP facility at Texas A&M University System in College Station. It employs advanced technologies for high containment manufacturing, which contains the organisms used to manufacture vaccines inside production suites. The facility houses 110,000 sq.-ft. of cGMP space and as many as 20 mobile clean rooms (MCRs).
