Constantia Flexibles Invests in New Capacity in Spain

Constantia Flexibles is investing in new capacity at its manufacturing site in Burgos, Spain. The total investment is approximately €4 million. The installation of a new narrow web printer and narrow web adhesive lamination machine will be completed by the middle of 2017. The Burgos site is part of Constantia Tobepal S.L., which is a leading supplier of foil-based flexible packaging for the pharmaceutical, HPC and food industries for more than 80 years. Constantia Tobepal has roughly 500 employees at its Burgos and Logrono production sites in Spain.

“This investment not only increases operational efficiency due to its focus on short run batches, but also underlines our clear commitment to provide the best product and service to our customers,” said Gerold Riegler, chief operating officer, Constantia Flexibles.
