Contract Pharma recently visited Gibraltar Laboratories' ISO 17025 certified facilities located in Fairfield and Pinebrook, NJ, where the company provides analytical testing and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, and chemical industries. In business for more than 46 years, Gibraltar provides services including, microbiology, molecular biology/virology, analytical chemistry, moist steam and dry heat sterilization, environmental monitoring, and consulting.

Gibraltar is now offering its own manufactured product called the SteriKit®. This is a kit containing certified endotoxin free, sterile and particulate free (USP <85>, <71> & <788>) vials, seals and stoppers.

Gibraltar’s three laboratories include state-of-the-art equipment dedicated to microbiology, sterilization and chemistry services. The 21,000-sq.-ft. space has a clean room for contract testing and manufacturing services, and an analytical microbiology and chemistry lab for raw material and finished product testing. The company’s three New Jersey facilities staff more than fifty scientists that provide research, testing, and scientific consulting.
