Pharma Tech has expanded its production facility in Union, MO. The multimillion-dollar investment adds approximately 55,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, bringing the facility's total are to 155,000 sq. ft. The new space includes a high-speed bottling line for the production of nutritionals and ingestible powders, as well as a production room built to International Organization for Standardization Class 8 ISO 8/100,000 clean room standards. Another addition is a 20,000 sq. ft. building housing a new analytical and microbial lab and additional warehousing space.
Pharma Tech Industries recently launched F.I.R.S.T., the Fast Investigation Response Solving Team, to quickly responds to production deviations and, in doing so, shortens typical investigation times. The goal is to best ensure on-time, defect-free delivery of customer projects. The team is composed of members from a variety of core groups including Safety, Engineering, Quality, Operation and Facilities but can enlist personnel from any department relevant to a specific quality issue.
