PROCESS
Handling and manipulation of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and HPAPIs (Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) where personnel protection is required.

CONTAINMENT
Heavily dependent on potency and quantity of the toxic material being worked with, this unit can contain to nanogram levels and from OEB 3-5. Consult FSI about your application.

The Glovebox Workstation can provide containment for many applications and equipment, including balances, ovens, FTIR, sieves, and many more. 

FEATURES & BENEFITS

SAFETY
The Glovebox Workstation series provides containment for highly toxic applications using APIs that need more safety than an opened face enclosure. FSI engineering controls are built in to prevent loss of containment. Third Party testing has proven containment on these units to below 30 ng/m³ based on process and quantity.

ISO 5 OR BETTER INTERIOR CLEANLINESS
The HEPA inlet provides the interior with a laminar airflow. This HEPA clean environment meets or exceeds ISO 5 for clean processing of work while protecting operators from exposure.

UNIVERSAL SIDE PORT / TRANSFER PORT
Side port with universal options including double-safe waste chute, continuous liner, RTP port, and more through customization. The side port and transfer port can be moved to either side. The transfer port provided ingress and egress of items into and out of the enclosure without exposing the operator or the interior environment to contamination.

DESIGN
Designed as the next step in containment above the FSI Hybrid Isolator, this unit is able to effectively contain using HEPA clean air inlet and HEPA air out. This creates laminar airflow across the interior. The Glovebox Workstation is equipped with dual 4” thick HEPA filters that can be recirculated into the lab or sent directly to house exhaust.

CONSTRUCTION
This unit comes standard with either acrylic (EGP Series) or glass (EGG Series) viewing panels, as well as a dished phenolic resin base and polypropylene superstructure.

HEPA FILTRATION
The Glovebox Workstation system is equipped with a 4″ HEPA filter inlet and primary and secondary 4” HEPA outlet filters that can be recirculated into the lab or sent directly to house exhaust.

BASE / TOP OPTIONS
Standard options for the base include a regular base, regular base with a 4″ tri-clover/tri-clamp fitting to accept powder transfer options, as well as a standard option to purchase the unit without a base so a custom base can be applied.

LED LIGHT
This enclosure features an internal white LED light for improved visibility inside of the enclosure with adjustable angle to direct light onto the application. Also available in Amber LED through customization.

FRONT LIFT DOOR
The glove ports sit in a front lift door that opens vertically to effectively load and unload equipment. This door is hinged for ease of use.

IMPROVED AIRFLOW DESIGN – ISO 5 INTERIOR CLEANLINESS
The HEPA inlet (1) provides the interior with laminar airflow. This HEPA clean environment (2) meets or betters ISO 5 for clean processing of work while protecting operators from exposure. The Bag-in/Bag-out Dual HEPA exhaust (3) ensures safe recirculation of air into the room or connection to house exhaust.

Fan with 6″ Exhaust Port to Recirculate or Connect to House Exhaust; Fan with a Mesh Top for Wide Air Distribution (Used in Short Ceiling Rooms)
