Chris Beaver, Ph.D. has been appointed director of Immunochemistry Services at PharmaNet Development Group. Dr. Beaver is responsible for leading the immunochemistry team within the company’s bioanalytical laboratories and expanding its large molecule services, including assay development and sample analysis for biomarker, ELISA, radioimmunoassays, immunogenicity and cell-based assays. PharmaNet has two GLP-compliant bioanalytical labs in Princeton, NJ and Quebec, Canada.
“We are very excited to have Chris joining us,” said Dr. Richard LeLacheur, vice president. “Chris brings to PharmaNet a combination of CRO leadership experience and technical expertise in large molecule bioanalysis that enhances our ability to support the drug development strategies of our clients. He is a valuable addition to our bioanalytical team.”
Dr. Beaver previously served as scientific director of Ligand Binding/Cell-Based Assays at a CRO with macromolecule bioanalysis operations.
