David Duffield, director of Global Security for Catalent Pharma Solutions has been awarded membership in the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Pharmaceutical Security Council. The Council aims to be a source of information and leadership on issues affecting the industry by establishing, developing, and promoting programs dedicated to security in the pharmaceutical industry.
For the past three years, Mr. Duffield has also been an active Steering Group member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Security Forum based in the UK. Mr. Duffield has worked in security for Catalent for the past eight years and has participated in a number of global initiatives including the development of Catalent’s security and business continuity programs and supply chain security initiatives.
“Being a member of working groups such as the ASIS and the Pharmaceutical Industry Security Forum will enable Catalent to keep up-to-date and informed on all security-related issues, which will ultimately benefit our customers,” said Mr. Duffield.
