At Interphex 2018, MG America gave Contract Pharma an exclusive look at their MG2 GSL10 machine. The machine, presented nationally at Interphex for the first time, is a compact, side-load case-packer for carton packaging inside a corrugated shipper. Cases are forced opened by two sets of suctions cups, and the machine changeover is very fast and mainly based on adjustments. MG America says the print & apply labeler, case rotation at out-feed, and check-weigher are among the most common options for this machine. The GSL10 is Serialization/Aggregation compliant, and incorporates an aggregation camera takes snapshots during the process to ensure verification.
