Edward Hu has been appointed chief financial officer of WuXi PharmaTech, effective immediately. Mr. Hu has served as the company's chief operating officer since January 2008 and previously served as acting chief financial officer from February 2009 through May 2010. He succeeds Hao Zhou, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
