Avrio Biopharmaceuticals has increased capacity with a new Hull 72FXS100-SS25C Freeze Drying System and a new M&O Perry Industries P1510-DT Dual Tooled Liquid Filling, Stoppering, and Alu-Crimp Capping Machine. The equipment is scheduled to be validated and ready for use later this year.

"We are ecstatic about growing and adding new state-of-the art equipment to better support the increasing demand from our clients," said Kale Ruby, senior vice president of operations. "With the addition of the lyophilizer, which has an external condenser and shelf-stoppering capability, along with an automated filler providing integrated tooling and 100% weight check capability at 60 vials per minute capacity, Avrio will provide more flexibility and higher volume in a shorter period of time."
