Christophe Muguet has been named vice president Global Syringe Business for SCHOTT Pharmaceutical Packaging. Based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, he is responsible for business development, product management, research and development and operations.
“Christophe is deeply familiar with the syringe business, and his expertise will help us further strengthening our presence and activities in this area,” said Andreas Reisse, vice president, Business Segment Pharmaceutical Packaging at SCHOTT. “The field of pre-filled syringes made of glass and polymer is a growing market and Christophe’s insights and industry experience make him a strong addition to our team.”
Mr. Muguet was previously at Becton Dickinson, where he was vice president Industrial Operations, which included responsibility for global operations of the company’s pharmaceutical systems business unit with six production sites in France, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, UK and the U.S. Previously, he held several positions at Becton Dickinson in the fields of supply chain, IT and planning. He also has experience in procurement, production and supply chain at GlaxoSmithKline and Serono.
