K. Gary Barnette has been appointed vice president of drug development at Camargo Pharmaceutical Services. He will be based out of the company’s Durham, NC office. Mr. Barnette is responsible for the growth of the company and customer service using his experience within the drug development industry and his knowledge of FDA regulations.
Mr. Barnette has 15 years of leadership experience, most recently as vice president of Clinical R&D strategy at GTx, Inc., where he was responsible for the clinical strategy of clinical programs and the scientific design and authorship of all clinical protocols. Prior to GTx, he served as the director of regulatory affairs for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, and for the FDA office of Clinical Pharmacology and Biopharmaceutics as a reviewer of NDA, sNDA and IND submissions.
