Comments: Pharmaceutical sales were up 2% to $10.6 billion in the quarter. Singulair sales were $1.4 billion (+6%). Januvia sales were up 36% to $1.1 billion. Zetia sales were up 7% to $632 million. Janumet sales were 28% to $411 million. Gardasil sales were up 17% to $324 million. Remicade sales were down 38%, impacted by territories transferred to Johnson & Johnson through a settlement agreement. Cozaar/Hyzaar sales were down 17% to $337 million. Earnings were down partly as a result of ongoing restructuring costs.
