Chris Mathes, Ph.D., has been appointed chief commercial officer at ChanTest. Dr. Mathes will oversee all sales, marketing and customer relations activities. He will also contribute to strategic guidance of the company as a global player in the CRO industry.

Dr. Mathes has published several ion channel papers in peer reviewed journals over the past two decades. In the last 10 years, Dr. Mathes has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of automated patch clamp systems for ion channel safety testing and drug discovery.
