Aphena Pharma Solutions has acquired Classic Pharmaceuticals LLC, a manufacturer and distributor of OTC, private-label pharmaceuticals to blue-chip drug (Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS) and retail (Kroger, Wal-Mart, and Dollar General) stores and distributors in the U.S.
 
Headquartered in Sherburne, NY, Classic currently manufactures two OTC private-label products, a nasal inhaler for cold and flu symptoms and a chocolated laxative. Both products are manufactured and packaged at the company’s NY facility.
