Victor Vinci, Ph.D., has been named vice president and chief scientific officer at Cook Pharmica. Dr. Vinci will be responsible for guiding the scientific direction of Cook Pharmica.
Dr. Vinci has more than 20 years of technical, managerial and leadership experience. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Vinci worked for many years at Eli Lilly and Co. in Indianapolis and was responsible for leading bioprocess operations and development efforts. He also spent six years at Merck as a manufacturing science and technology lead and section head.
“Victor is a great complement to the Pharmica leadership team. His vast experience in biopharmaceutical process development and operations will further ensure our ability to continually meet the needs of our clients and provide additional technical expertise for our clients to draw upon,” said Cook Pharmica president Tedd Green. “We’re carefully investing in people, equipment and facilities to make sure our customers are getting the service they’ve come to expect from Pharmica.”
