Wei Ming Goh has been appointed vice president, Asia Pacific at ICON, and Dr. Dennis Hurley has been appointed vice president, Latin America.
 
Mr. Goh has more than 14 years of experience in the CRO industry and a strong track record in Asia Pacific. He joins the company from Kendle, where he was vice president, Asia Pacific, responsible for all operational activities and partner relationships in the region. Previously, he spent 11 years with Quintiles, and held a number of senior management positions in operations and finance for the company’s Asian, Australian and African region.
 
Dr. Hurley has 30 years of experience in drug development and joins the company from INC, where he served as vice president Latin America, responsible for building the company’s business in the region. He also co-founded ECA, Mexico’s largest CRO, in 1992 and expanded it to five other major countries in Latin America. Dr. Hurley also has a strong background in biostatistics, process improvement and project management and has contributed to a number of approved NDAs.
