Bigelow joins Lavin as external member

IPS-Integrated Project Services has appointed two new members to its board of directors, Peter T. Bigelow and Cliff Lavin. Mr. Bigelow is the chief executive officer of xCell Strategic Consulting, a global strategic development and operations improvement solutions firm. He previously served as president for North America Commercial Operations at Patheon and also held the position of interim chief executive officer at the company. Prior to joining Patheon, Mr. Bigelow held leadership roles with increasing responsibilities for global operations with Wyeth.

“Peter and Cliff both bring proven management expertise, outstanding business acumen and a wide-range of experience to IPS”, said Dave Goswami, PE, chief executive officer and managing director of IPS. “Peter’s knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry and Cliff’s business acumen will be of tremendous value as we continue to develop our short- and long-term plans. Peter is an industry recognized, experienced Fortune 500 executive with extensive global experience and has a true understanding of the issues facing global biopharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the U.S. and emerging countries. Cliff has executive experience in global industries not related to biopharmaceuticals. We believe that the diverse experiences of Peter and Cliff will be an invaluable asset as our growth takes us to uncharted territory.”
