Synerlab Acquires Lyofal

Gains lyophilization services

Synerlab, a French CMO, has acquired Lyofal, gaining access to the growing market of lyophilized dosage forms, and expanding its existing range of outsourcing services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Lyofal’s core business is outsourcing lyophilization services, providing services from determining lyophilization parameters, formulation assistance, and improvement of existing cycles within R&D, to production of pilot and industrial scale for bulk products (APIs, plant or animal extracts), as well as vials (diagnostic use) or molded forms (haemostatic patches or medical devices).
