David Biland has been appointed chief executive officer of Argenta. He reports to founder and managing director, Dr. Doug Cleverly. Previously, Mr. Biland has held managerial positions at Merial and Ancare based in Sydney, New Zealand, Scandinavia, and Ireland, and served as head of the large animals business for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.
 
“This appointment is a major strategic decision for Argenta as the company moves into a phase of continuous growth,” said Dr. Cleverly. “Mr. Biland has significant ability to manage large companies and the complexity of challenges that come with that. It’s always great to see talent returning to New Zealand.”
