Dr. Pia Thommes has been appointed scientific operations director at Euprotec, a UK-based CRO. Dr. Thommes will lead Euprotec’s anti-viral area of research and further develop its portfolio of infectious disease biology services.

She joins the company from AstraZeneca, where she was associate director in the oncology department.
