Adds key locations in North America

UPS is expanding its global healthcare distribution network in North America to include facilities in Burlington, ON, Louisville, KY, Mira Loma, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Reno, NV. The new facilities add approximately 800,000 sq. ft. to its global network of 37 healthcare facilities, which now total six million sq. ft. of distribution space.
“UPS is committed to investing in our global network and supporting industry demand to meet customer needs for increased speed, flexibility and efficiency,” said Bill Hook, vice president, global strategy, UPS Healthcare Logistics. “Our healthcare customers are creating value through our broad network and single global technology platform.”
UPS facilities meet applicable government accreditations, licenses and maintain geographic-specific regulatory requirements. The company’s healthcare facilities offer distribution space with temperature and humidity-controlled environments. Each of the expanded facilities is designed to serve the warehousing and distribution needs of pharma and medical device manufacturers.
