QPharma Appoints Medical Officer

Shaw to oversee QLaunch platform

Dr. Peter J. Shaw has been appointed chief medical officer at QPharma. Dr. Shaw will oversee numerous initiatives, including the company’s QLaunch platform designed to maximize compliance and commercial effectiveness of life science product launches.
 
Dr. Shaw previously served as president and chief operating officer of MD Mindset, LLC, a pharma sales force and marketing firm, with responsibility for company operations, product development, and business development. Prior to this, he was president and founder of London-based Metamorph Doctors, Inc., which was established to train medical sales professionals to communicate with physicians more effectively.
 
“Dr. Shaw’s breadth of experience as a physician, executive, and respected key opinion leader in the pharmaceutical industry speaks for itself,” said QPharma president and chief executive officer, Patrick P. Den Boer. “I am confident that he will bring outstanding value to our clients as a core member of our executive leadership team.”
