Reed-Lane is in full compliance with the FDA’s DSCSA Serialization Track and Trace mandate for prescription medication which went into effect in November 2017. Our serialization partners are Optel Group and TraceLink.

Variety of Options

Bottles
Reed-Lane has upgraded two of its bottle lines to add serialization capabilities. Both lines utilize the Optel Group Bottle Tracker system, and Domino Printers, to serialize from the unit level through full pallet aggregation. The lines are connected to TraceLink to manage and transmit serialized data with our customers and trading partners.
Our serialized bottle lines are capable of:

• serializing individual bottles
• aggregating bottles to cases
• aggregating cases to pallets

 
Cartons
Our dedicated Carton Serialization Suite features a premium Optel Group Carton Tracker system providing track-and-trace services down to the single-item (unit) level, through full pallet aggregation. The line is connected to TraceLink to manage and transmit serialized data with our customers and trading partners.
The suite’s flexible line configuration makes possible a wide range of serialization options, including:

• individual cartons
• aggregate cartons to cases
• aggregate cartons to bundles
• aggregate bundles to cases
• aggregate cases to pallets
• rework of previously serialized items, per customer needs.
