MPI Research Appoints Lab Sciences VP

Cetero vet to expand bioanalytical services

MPI Research has appointed Roger N. Hayes, Ph.D., as vice president and general manager of Laboratory Sciences. Dr. Hayes joins the company from Cetero Research, where he served as president of Bioanalytical Operations.

Dr. Hayes has held numerous leadership positions in the global life sciences industry. He spent 10 years at Merck Research Laboratories, where he directed the regulated bioanalysis group in support of preclinical and clinical safety trials and also advanced efficiencies for method development and validation. At Parke-Davis, he managed the instrumentation support department, headed the Bioanalytical Groups for both safety and discovery research, and lead the Drug Metabolism Mass Spectrometry Group. Dr. Hayes also spent several years at Procter and Gamble, where he developed new analytical technology and processes.
