Dr. Wolfgang Renz has been appointed senior vice president of Clinical Operations at PharmaNet Development Group, Inc. Dr. Renz will be responsible for PharmaNet’s clinical operations in Western and Central/Eastern Europe, as well as the Regional Monitoring Group in North America. He will be based in the company’s office in Zurich, Switzerland.

Before joining the company, Dr. Renz served as General Manager of JSS Medical Research, president of Samaritan Therapeutics, and Adjunct Professor of Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has also held senior positions in clinical research organizations and was chief executive officer of Venn Life Sciences Holdings.
