QPharma, Inc. has integrated its sample accountability and distribution applications into the Veeva Web, a SaaS CRM application network for life sciences companies.

The QPharma-Veeva integration enables QPharma to directly access the Veeva CRM database via a web service, eliminating many of the standard interfaces required to perform sample accountability, according the company. This integration encompasses rep roster, alignment, product and lot, sample disbursement, practitioner and other transaction level data. Some of the benefits derived from this integration, according the company, include reduced support and maintenance, shorter deployment timeframes and lower total cost of ownership.

Jeff Volyn, QPharma’s director of PDMA operations, said, “Our integration with Veeva is very exciting. Veeva will continue to have a significant impact in the Life Sciences CRM space. QPharma has been providing outsourced PDMA and sample accountability services for over a decade. The experience of QPharma and the Software as a Service (SaaS) technology presented by Veeva makes a powerful statement to the pharmaceutical sales and sales operations teams within the Life Sciences industry. The best service is now merged with the best technology.”

QPharma’s chief operating officer, Ray Roggero, added, “Hassle-free, pre-built integration is the biggest value to all parties involved in the Veeva Web — for us, for Veeva, and for customers. Because integration to Veeva is now an embedded part of our sample accountability and distribution apps, our customers are able to focus on higher value-added activities, like optimizing business processes to ensure continued regulatory compliance.”
