Sancilio & Company, Inc. is expanding its pharmaceutical laboratories into a new facility in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The new facility will allow expansion of SCI’s development capabilities and provide additional workspace for planned expansion during 2009.

Dr. Fred D. Sancilio, SCI’s president, stated, “We are very fortunate to have found and relocated our laboratories into this new building at this time. We are in the process of launching several new products and services, and frankly the former laboratories were simply too small to house the number of scientists needed to support these pharmaceutical products. We expect to double our scientific staff by the end of the year, and this facility will allow this to happen.”

The new facility will house the companies analytical and development teams, and be equipped with high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, mass spectrophotometer, Fourier transform infrared analyzer, as well as other equipment for pharmaceutical development. The new building will also house ICH stability chambers with installed generator back-up electrical power systems.
