VWR International has entered an agreement to acquire Peqlab Biotechnologie GmbH, including its subsidiaries and operations in the U.S., UK and Austria, and manufacturing operation Clemens GmbH in Germany. The agreement is subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
 
Peqlab, headquartered in Erlangen, Germany, develops, manufactures and supplies molecular and cell biology reagents, consumables and instruments to support education, research, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
