Norwich Pharmaceuticals, a provider of full-service contract development and manufacturing services for the pharma and biopharma industry, has changed its name to Norwich Pharma Services. The announcement was made at start of the CPhI conference being held in Frankfurt, Germany. The new name is intended to reflect expanded capabilities and growth in terms of new projects and product launches. The company plans to continue investments in 2014 at its manufacturing site in Norwich, NY.
 
“One year ago, Norwich celebrated its 125th year anniversary of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Our new name and brand identity builds on that long history of customer service and focuses on our true core strength: offering a breadth of services synchronized to meet customers’ needs,” said Terry Novak, president of Norwich.
