Manuel Brocke-Benz has been appointed president and chief executive officer of VWR International, LLC. Mr. Brocke-Benz has held the role on an interim basis while the board conducted an extensive search to replace former president and chief executive officer, John Ballbach.
 
He has more than 25 years of VWR experience having held various leadership positions in both Europe and North America. For the past nine years he served as senior vice president and managing director of VWR’s European Lab Distribution and Services business. Mr. Brocke-Benz was appointed to the board of directors in September 2012.
