Dr. Andrew Hill has been named general manager of Agrochemicals and Regulatory Affairs at Harlan Laboratories Contract Research Services. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and has held senior roles in both operations and sales. Dr. Hill joins the company from Covance, where he was most recently director of Early Development Client Services.

Wendy Henderson has been appointed head of Global Pathology at Harlan. Ms. Henderson has more than 20 years of experience as a toxicological veterinary pathologist in the CRO and preclinical pharmaceutical industries. She recently held senior management positions at Aptuit and CRL.

Harlan has near-term plans for additional appointments in business development, general toxicology and GMP activities, expanding its presence in Switzerland and Germany.

“We are continuing to focus on the needs of our clients in the further development of our services,” said Harlan CRS president Manuela Leone. “It is vital that we match the necessary levels of experience and expertise with the changing requirements of the markets in which we operate. What has been extremely gratifying is the number of senior personnel from outside our organization who share this vision and wish to be a part of it.”
