Will implement CAPA and customer complaints management solutions

Pharmaceutical Associates, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of liquid pharmaceuticals, will implement Pilgrim Software’s integrated solutions for Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) and Customer Complaints management. These automated software systems will replace previous manual, paper-based CAPA and complaints processes across the organization. Pilgrim’s CAPA Management and Complaints Management, according to the company, form a closed-loop system that allows users to report, react to, and resolve issues as well as prevent recurrence through appropriate actions. “These two solutions are fully integrated and will allow us to enhance our tracking, trending and reporting capabilities surrounding collected CAPA and complaints data,” said Mark Wita, vice president of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for Pharmaceutical Associates. “We’ll be able to increase our efficiencies while continuing to ensure we take rapid, but thorough action to address the right issues in the right way.” “With the implementation of Pilgrim’s automated and integrated solutions, we are happy to provide Pharmaceutical Associates a platform to realize its automation vision in these critical areas,” said Thierry Durand, Pilgrim Software’s chief executive officer. “Additionally, the organization is now positioned to gain operational efficiencies which will ensure a higher level of customer satisfaction and further solidify its well-known reputation as a leader in the pharmaceutical industry.”
