Dr. Anand Bidarkar has been appointed vice president of business development for the Ecron Acunova (EA) group. He will be responsible for orders, sales, marketing programs, and channel partner development in Asia, UK and the U.S., and will report to Dr. Surinder Kher, chief executive officer of Asia.

Dr. Bidarkar has extensive functional experience in operations, business development, strategic partnerships and leading business units with groups such as Novartis, inVentiv and Apollo. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Bidarkar served as vice president of business development at SIRO Clinpharm, responsible for the Americas, and earlier for Asia Pacific and UK. He also served on the senior management team.
