Jubilant Biosys Ltd., a subsidiary of Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd., has achieved an early stage milestone under its collaboration with Endo Pharmaceuticals, resulting in the selection of a cancer drug candidate for development. The drug is anticipated to enter trials by late 2012. The companies will continue the collaboration in the development phase.   
 
The multi-target collaboration focuses on differentiated therapies to address the unmet needs of cancer patients. The collaboration has delivered multiple milestones across the discovery phase. Endo will pursue development and commercialization of the compound and Jubilant is eligible to receive development milestones.
