GRAM Adds Board Member

Kontny brings thirty years of pharmaceutical experience

Mark Kontny has joined Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing as a board member. Mark has 30 years of pharmaceutical experience, most recently serving as president, Pharmaceutical Development Services & Chief Scientific Officer for Patheon.
 
Previously, he served as divisional vice president for Abbott Laboratories, responsible for divisional staffs in IL, MA, Germany and Singapore. Earlier in his career, he spent close to ten years at Boehringer Ingelheim working with the pre-formulation, formulation and manufacturing of different dosage forms. He then become senior director at Pfizer and helped develop small molecules and biologics in both solid-dose and parenteral (injectable) forms.

His deep industry experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically the parenteral space, will contribute to great decisions for the future.
