Recipharm has completed a serialization project for Abbott for the Korean market, which began in April 2014.
 
The company produced a data matrix code, including serial number, with full regulatory compliance, applying its internationally adaptable solution to a blister packaging line, which required differentiation from Chinese serialization. Validation batches are now manufactured, released, and expected to ship to Korea mid-March 2015.
