Intertek has relocated its bioanalytical liquid chromatography– mass spectrometry (LC-MS) facility in El Dorado Hills, CA to Intertek’s center of excellence in San Diego. The relocation increases capacity with 46,000 sq.-ft. of lab, office, and sample storage space for preclinical and clinical small molecule drug development. The company has also invested in new mass spectrometers, which will be operational at the new LC-MS facility prior to relocation in June 2015.
 
The company’s existing large molecule bioanalysis services in San Diego will be bolstered by expanded capability for bioanalytical LC-MS evaluation for drugs such as proteins, antibody therapeutics and biosimilars.
