Altasciences recently expanded into the U.S. with the opening of Algorithme Pharma USA, in Fargo, ND. Algorithme has just completed studies for a U.S. contract, 91 days after it was signed.
 
Algorithme Pharma USA and Algorithme Pharma, Montreal, have been working to upgrade the newly acquired facility, hire and train staff, recruit study participants, incorporate all standard operating procedures, and implement an IT infrastructure to allow both sites to work seamlessly.
 
Following completion of the studies, Dr. Jim Carlson, president and chief executive officer, Algorithme Pharma USA, said, “Everybody, and I mean everybody, is pitching in and helping out. I have never seen a faster, yet complete, integration of two companies, and with such respect between colleagues. These experienced staff are focused and dedicated.”
