VWR, a provider of lab products and services, has acquired National Biochemicals (NBC), a full service raw material manufacturer and supplier to the biochemical industry. The acquisition expands VWR’s custom chemical and biochemical manufacturing portfolio. Financial details were not disclosed.
 
Based in Twinsburg and Aurora, OH, NBC manufactures and supplies molecular biology reagents, multi-compendial chemicals, and biotechnology and diagnostic biochemicals to customers internationally.
