Luminer, a labeling solutions provider specializing in extended content labels (ECLs) for pharmaceutical ethical and OTC packaging, has hired Mike Barrett as a sales executive. Mr. Barrett brings a versatile sales background to the Luminer team, including several years in the packaging and labels sectors.

Mr. Barrett’s responsibilities include driving growth in Luminer’s legacy markets – most prominently extended content labels – as well as a brand-broadening expansion into new niches. Mr. Barrett also will help strengthen internal processes, including conducting in-depth market research and helping to incorporate streamlined customer relationship management platforms.

Luminer recently incorporated a new state-of-the-art ECL production line at its primary manufacturing facility in Lakewood, NJ. Highlighted by a custom engineered modular printing, converting, onserting servo platform, the new infrastructure further increases Luminer’s capacity, and offers faster throughput speeds and heightened booklet placement precision.
