American Regent Moves Corporate Office

The relocation to Melville, NY consolidates corporate functions

American Regent, a manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceuticals that addresses diverse medical and veterinary needs, has moved its corporate offices to Melville, NY. The relocation is a consolidation of corporate functions, which had previously been spread across several buildings in eastern Suffolk County, to office space more centrally located on Long Island. For more than 50 years American Regent has been developing and delivering complex, hard-to-manufacture injectable medicines.

“American Regent’s growth over the past several years has enabled us to bring important medicines to patients, and has required us to re-evaluate our business needs,” said Ken Keller, president and chief executive officer, American Regent. “I am very excited about this next chapter for our company, and the synergies, collaboration, and engagement this new office space will bring. A primary focus of the management team is to continue investing in our employees. It is because of them that we have been increasingly successful in product development, obtaining FDA approvals, and ensuring our products are known and available to healthcare professionals and the patients who need them.”

American Regent also continues to invest in the manufacturing side of its business, with expansion in its Ohio and Long Island, New York facilities to provide state-of-the-art U.S. manufacturing.

“Our manufacturing expansion, coupled with this corporate office move,” said Keller, “positions American Regent to be more nimble in an increasingly competitive pharmaceutical industry. Speed, agility, and investing in our people and capabilities will be key as we continue building for our future.”
