Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI) has opened its new Mid-Atlantic Regional office in Columbia, MD. The facility includes a state-of-the-art laboratory that will enable SSI to expand its ability to meet regional customers’ needs for analytical instrument design, development and support.
 
The new 5,000 square-foot facility will allow SSI’s sales engineers, service technicians and engineers, and technical support scientists to enhance their fast, efficient assistance for Mid-Atlantic customers and to ensure success with SSI instruments. The new space will also serve as a showcase for the latest SSI instrument and platform innovations.
