Ricardo (Rick) Garcia, has been appointed vice president of Operational Excellence at Formulated Solutions.
 
Rick has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing support functions, including engineering, facilities, maintenance and production. Prior to joining the company, he implemented a number of safety, environmental, property loss prevention, business continuity and incident management programs to protect employees, the environment and the businesses he has served. He also led capital projects for capacity expansion, site improvements and projects related to cost improvements, new product introductions, automation, supply continuity, EHS and compliance. Rick has implemented significant elements of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance, Reliability Centered Maintenance and Project Management throughout his career, and is an ASQ-certified Six Sigma Black Belt as well as a PMI certified Project Management Professional.
