Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies Names Jackie Kunzler Head of R&D

Kunzler brings 20 years of experience leading highly successful teams and product launches.

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, a medical technology company, appointed Jackie Kunzler senior vice president, R&D. She will serve on the executive management committee.

Kunzler joins Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies from Baxter Healthcare. Throughout her career, she has held successive leadership roles in healthcare, including as Baxter Healthcare’s senior vice president for quality and regulatory and head of global life sciences.

Terumo BCT specializes in products that collect, separate and process blood and cells. The company’s forward-looking innovation aims to unlock the potential of blood and cell collections in varied sectors, including blood banking, plasma-based therapies and cell and gene therapies.

Kunzler has over 20 years of experience leading R&D teams and business model innovation. At Terumo BCT, she will focus on collaborative business decisions while fostering the company’s culture of continuous improvement to bring a deep understanding of customers’ and patients’ needs to positively impact healthcare.
